Dealing with Google over Adsense problems is a nightmare - Kafka couldn't have done justice to the issues. Try posting on the Google forums with details, including both blog addresses.

It's really difficult when things go wrong. A year ago I used the forums and had more success, finally working out how to get things resolved. Can't remember now though what I had to do.

Depending on how long ago the ORIGINAL blog was deleted, it could be reinstated. I believe it is not actually completely removed for 90 days from the time of deletion.
